London born, Kubi Springer has 16 years brand and marketing experience, including 4 years as an international brand consultant. A strategic marketer with client-side and agency experience she has worked with a wide variety of clients including: Blue Chip Companies such as Nike, L’Oreal Professionnel, Nokia and Blackberry. Entertainment, Fashion and Sports brands such as MOBO Awards, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (New York), Justin Timberlake/Sony BMG, MTV and Manchester United Footballer Rio Ferdinand. Financial and Consultancy Firms such as Lloyds TSB, Jamaica National Building Society (Caribbean), Eurasia Consortium (Middle East & South Asia) and Information Management Network (USA & Asia).
With an acute understanding of how to commercialise brands, at just 26 years old, Kubi Springer was appointed as the youngest Head of Marketing and Brand Communications for the MOBO Awards (broadcast on the BBC). At MOBO she worked with founder Kanya King, to secure the title sponsorship deal valued at over £1.3 million. By 31 years old, Kubi Springer was headhunted to work with new Sky Entertainment Channel, OHTV Sky Channel 199. Whilst at OHTV she took the company website from 200,000 hits per month to 2.9 million unique users, which generated a 45% increase with online advertisers and channel sponsors. Today she is working as a freelance brand consultant in the UK and abroad.
